These terms apply to the services you have instructed Bridgewater Solicitors to provide, and should be read alongside your Client Care Letter.

Introduction
These Terms of Business apply to the services you have instructed Bridgewater Solicitors (“we”, “us”, “our”) to provide. These terms should be read in conjunction with the Client Care Letter provided to you at the outset of your matter. Together, these documents form the contract between us.
About us
Bridgewater Solicitors is a trading style of Bridgewater Law Ltd, a limited company registered in England & Wales.
We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and comply with the SRA Standards and Regulations.
Our services
We specialise in Housing Disrepair, Military Hearing Loss, and Personal Injury claims. We will provide legal advice and representation with reasonable care and skill. Our specific responsibilities in your case will be outlined in your Client Care Letter.
Fees and funding
Most of our cases are funded via a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA), commonly known as “No Win, No Fee”.
If your claim is unsuccessful
You generally do not pay our legal fees, provided you have complied with the terms of our agreement.
If you win
We will charge a Success Fee, which is capped at a percentage of your damages. This will be fully explained in your funding agreement.
Liability and insurance
We maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) in accordance with SRA requirements. Our liability to you for a breach of your instructions shall be limited to the amount below, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Termination
You may terminate your instructions to us in writing at any time. We may keep all your papers and documents while there is still money owed to us for fees and expenses.
